The player limit is set by the server owner. Most community Unturned servers run between 16 and 48 slots, while large popular servers can run close to 100. Live player counts and maximum slots for each server are shown on Top Unturned.

Yes. Verified server owners can create events — wipes, tournaments, special weekends — which are displayed on the Current Events page on Top Unturned and help drive players to the server at the right moment.

With the UBridge plugin and the Discord bot's Premium tier, players who linked their Steam and Discord accounts receive a direct message on Discord the moment their base is attacked in-game. Raid alerts are a per-Discord Premium feature; the rest of the bot stays free.
